SENIOR AFFAIRS COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES OF WEDNESDAY,DECEMBER 14,1994 <br /> COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairperson Anthony, Commissioners <br /> Capone, Lloyd, Metzdorf and Newell <br /> COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: Commissioners Jordan and Sharp <br /> GUESTS PRESENT: Executive Director Maria Bransford, Noreen Donohue <br /> STAFF PRESENT: Superintendent Sally Hartman, Recreation Supervisor <br /> Linda Griffith, Library Supervisor Val Hamilton, Secretary <br /> Denise Monroe <br /> The regular meeting of the Senior Affairs Commission was called to <br /> order at 9:15am by Chairperson Anthony at the Fair Oaks Senior Center, <br /> 2600 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The minutes of the November meeting were approved as mailed. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> There was no correspondence. <br /> The following items were taken out of order: <br /> ITEM 4-NOTIFICATION OF GLADYS SHARP'S RESIGNATION <br /> Superintendent Hartman read a letter of resignation from Commissioner <br /> Gladys Sharp and said she spoke to her last week by phone. Commissioner <br /> Sharp indicated she did not want to go to the City Council meeting to pick up <br /> her plaque but would rather have it presented to her at the February Senior <br /> Affairs Commission meeting. It was suggested that perhaps a council <br /> member could present the plaque to her at that meeting. <br /> ITEM 2-INTRODUCTION OF RECREATION SUPERVISOR LINDA <br /> GRIFFITH <br /> Superintendent Hartman introduced Recreation Supervisor Linda Griffith <br /> to the Commissioners and guests. Supervisor Griffith explained her <br /> background and experience with seniors. <br />
