RESOLUTION NO . 14-01 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY <br /> COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF DOWNTOWN PLANNED <br /> COMMUNITY PERMIT NO. 2014-03 FOR 103 WILSON STREET <br /> IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2. 1 .4. E OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY'S DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, Applicant, Greystar Development, has applied for a Downtown <br /> Planned Community Permit for the construction of a new 175-dwelling unit <br /> residential project at 103 Wilson Street and six other adjoining properties, which <br /> consists of seven floors and a 202-stall subterranean parking garage (the <br /> Project) which includes the site at 103 Wilson Street, which is identified in the <br /> Downtown Precise Plan as a "Historic Resource which may be Altered , <br /> Relocated or Removed"; and <br /> WHEREAS , under section 2 . 1 .4 . B , each proposed development adjacent <br /> to historic resources that require discretionary approval shall be reviewed by a <br /> qualified architect or architectural historian , approved by the City, and meeting <br /> the Secretary of Interior's Professional Qualification Standards and by the City's <br /> Historic Resources Advisory Committee ( HRAC) for its potential impacts on the <br /> adjacent historic resources; and <br /> WHEREAS , on August 14 , 2014 , the HRAC conducted a public <br /> meeting , in accordance with all applicable requirements of State Law to review <br /> the report (Exhibit A) prepared by Richard Brandi , an Architectural Historian , <br /> approved by the Office of Historic Preservation and meeting the Secretary of <br /> Interior's Professional Qualifications Standards (36 CFR part 6) to determine <br /> whether the proposed Project would have an adverse impact on the historic <br /> resource 103 Wilson Street. <br /> WHEREAS , on August 14 , 2014, the HRAC reviewed the project <br /> application for conformance to the applicable Historic Resources Preservation <br /> Chart in Section 2 . 1 of the Downtown Precise Plan . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC <br /> RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section 1 . The HRAC hereby recommends that the Planning <br /> Commission approve the Planned Community Permit, consistent with the <br /> Downtown Precise Plan and associated EIR, and subject to all Standards as <br /> ATTY/RESO.3005/HRAC — 103 WILSON STREET AKA GREYSTAR Page 1 of 8 <br /> REV: 08-08-14 VR <br />
