RESOLUTION NO. 15-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CIE RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ARCHITECTURAL PERMIT NO . 201482 FOR 1016 WARREN STREET, INCLUDING RECOMMENDED DESIGN MODIFICATIONS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 40 OF THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL CODE WHEREAS , Applicant, Jon Jang , Architect, on behalf of Brett Colbert, owner, has applied for an Architectural Permit for the construction of a new 1 , 750 square foot one-story single-family residence at 1016 Warren Street; and WHEREAS , pursuant to City Council Resolution No . 14723 , 1016 Warren Street is located within the designated Mezesville Historic District; and WHEREAS , pursuant to Chapter 40 of the Redwood City Municipal Code ( Historic Preservation Ordinance), the Historic Resources Advisory Committee shall review any application to "tear down , demolish , construct, alter, remove or relocate any improvement, or any portion thereof, which has been designated a historic landmark or is within a historic district" ; and WHEREAS , on February 12 , 2015 , the Historic Resources Advisory Committee conducted a duly-noticed public hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of State Law to review the permit application and support material . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE AS FOLLOWS : Section 1 . The HRAC hereby finds that the proposed 1 , 750 square foot one-story single-family residence , as designed and including recommended design modifications, is harmonious with and will not adversely impact the character of the Mezesville Historic District. Section 2. The HRAC hereby recommends that the Planning Commission approve the Architectural Permit with the recommended design modifications, consistent with Chapter 40 ( Historic Preservation ) of the Redwood City Municipal Code.
