RESOLUTION NO. 15-02 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY <br /> COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CIE <br /> RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF ARCHITECTURAL PERMIT <br /> NO . 201482 FOR 1016 WARREN STREET, INCLUDING <br /> RECOMMENDED DESIGN MODIFICATIONS, IN ACCORDANCE <br /> WITH CHAPTER 40 OF THE REDWOOD CITY MUNICIPAL <br /> CODE <br /> WHEREAS , Applicant, Jon Jang , Architect, on behalf of Brett Colbert, owner, <br /> has applied for an Architectural Permit for the construction of a new 1 , 750 square <br /> foot one-story single-family residence at 1016 Warren Street; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to City Council Resolution No . 14723 , 1016 Warren <br /> Street is located within the designated Mezesville Historic District; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Chapter 40 of the Redwood City Municipal Code <br /> ( Historic Preservation Ordinance), the Historic Resources Advisory Committee <br /> shall review any application to "tear down , demolish , construct, alter, remove or <br /> relocate any improvement, or any portion thereof, which has been designated a <br /> historic landmark or is within a historic district" ; and <br /> WHEREAS , on February 12 , 2015 , the Historic Resources Advisory <br /> Committee conducted a duly-noticed public hearing in accordance with all <br /> applicable requirements of State Law to review the permit application and <br /> support material . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC <br /> RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE AS FOLLOWS : <br /> Section 1 . The HRAC hereby finds that the proposed 1 , 750 square foot <br /> one-story single-family residence , as designed and including recommended <br /> design modifications, is harmonious with and will not adversely impact the <br /> character of the Mezesville Historic District. <br /> Section 2. The HRAC hereby recommends that the Planning <br /> Commission approve the Architectural Permit with the recommended design <br /> modifications, consistent with Chapter 40 ( Historic Preservation ) of the Redwood <br /> City Municipal Code. <br /> Section 3 .
