RESOLUTION NO. 16-04 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY FINDING <br />THAT THE PROPOSED PROJECT LOCATED AT 612 <br />JEFFERSON AVENUE WILL NOT CAUSE A SUBSTANTIAL <br />ADVERSE CHANGE IN THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE <br />ADJACENT HISTORIC RESOURCES LOCATED AT 620 <br />JEFFERSON AVENUE, 605 MIDDLEFIED ROAD, AND 611 <br />MIDDLEFIELD ROAD, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION <br />2.1.4.D.1 OF REDWOOD CITY'S DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, Applicant, Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, has <br />applied for a Downtown Planned Community Permit for the construction of a new <br />25,000 square foot residential building, consisting of 6 -stories and 20 units (the <br />Project), which is adjacent to three historic resources identified in the Downtown <br />Precise Plan as "Historic Resources to be Preserved"; and <br />WHEREAS, under Section 2.1.4.D.1 of the Downtown Precise Plan <br />(DTPP), projects on properties located directly adjacent to an historic property as <br />designated on the Historic Resources Preservation Regulations Map shall be <br />reviewed by a qualified architect or architectural historian for potential impacts to <br />the adjacent historic resource and by the City's Historic Resources Advisory <br />Committee (HRAC) for its potential impacts on the adjacent historic resource; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant hired Richard Brandi, a qualified Architectural <br />Historian listed on the City's list of Qualified Historical Consultants, to analyze <br />potential impacts to the historic resources located at 620 Jefferson Avenue; 605 <br />Middlefield Road, and 611 Middlefield Road; and <br />WHEREAS, on November 17, 2016, the HRAC conducted a duly -noticed <br />public meeting in accordance with all applicable requirements of State Law, to <br />review the report prepared by Richard Brandi, along with other associated project <br />materials; <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />ATTY/RESO.0107/HRAC RESO 612 JEFFERSON <br />REV: 11-14-16 JS <br />
