Bolanos DiIV= Telephone (415) 780-7122 Police Chief FAX Line (415) 780-7149 ~ May 24, 1996 Mr. Bill Anderson Peninsula Celebration Association 814 Hamilton Street Redwood City, CA 94063 Re: The Fourth of July Parade, Festival, and Fireworks activities Dear Mr. Anderson: The City Council on May 22, 1996, by resolution 12757, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting the Peninsula Celebration Association to conduct the Fourth of July Parade, Festival, and Fireworks activities, and an Arts and Crafts F air subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. The permission herein granted is to the Peninsula Celebration Association (hereinafter, for convenience, called "Permittee"). This permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. Parade. Festival. Fireworks. and Arts and Craft Fair: Said activities shall be sponsored by the Permittee. 2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City of Redwood City. 3. Non-transferabilitv: This permit is nontransferable. 4. Location: The parade herein permitted shall be conducted and the route reserved therefor, in the areas shown on attached map, on letter dated February 12, 1996. The fair and festival herein permitted shall be conducted and the streets reserved therefor, on Broadway between Main and Winslow Streets, and Hamilton and MiddJefield Streets between TheaterlMiddlefield and Marshall Street. 5. Dates and Time: The parade and festival shall be conducted on Thursday, July 4, 1996. The parade and staging area shall be reserved from 6:00 AM. to 3:00 P.M.; the parade route shall be reserved from 9:00 AM. until 2:00 P.M. The Fireworks display will start at or near dusk and will be conducted over the South Shores area. The permittee shall obtain written consent from the South Shores property owners.
