RD- 85-04 �� n' ---------- -- DIpUL7�1V1L RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OR SECRETARY TO ACCEPT DEEDS OR GRANTS ON BEHALF OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY WHEREAS, Section 27281 of the Government Code of the State of California requires that deeds or grants conveying any interest in or easement upon real estate to a political corporation or governmental agency for public purposes shall not be accepted for recordation without the consent of the grantee evidenced by its certificate or resolution of acceptance attached to or printed on the deed or grant; and WHEREAS, said Section 27281 provides a method whereby one or more officers or agents may be designated by the governmental agency to accept such deeds on its behalf; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ACTING AS THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: The Executive Director and the Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City are hereby designated as authorized officers of the Agency for the purpose of acceptance of deeds or grants, and either officer shall be authorized to accept, on behalf of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City, any deed or grant conveying any interest in or easement upon real estate to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Redwood City.
