CA 94063 Telephone (650) 780- 7122 FAX Line (650) 780-7149 ORiGINAL June 6, 2005 Mr. Bob Slusser Peninsula Celebration Association 814 Hamilton Street Redwood City, CA 94063 Dear Mr. Slusser: The City Council on June 6, 2005, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting the Peninsula Celebration Association (PCA) to conduct the 4th of July Parade, Park & Recreation Fun Run, Festival, Arts & Crafts Fair, and Fireworks Display. These events are subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. Permission is granted to the Peninsula Celebration Association ("Permittee"), by the City of Redwood City ("City"). This permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. Parade. Festival Arts & Crafts Fair. and Fireworks Display: Permittee shall sponsor said activities. 2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City. 3. Non-Transferability: This permit is non-transferable. 4. Location: The parade herein permitted shall be conducted and the route reserved therefore in the areas shown on the attached map of the letter dated May 9, 2005. The fair and festival herein permitted shall be conducted and the streets reserved therefore on Jefferson Avenue from Veterans Boulevard to Marshall Street, Bradford Street from Main Street to Hamilton Street, Middlefield from Veterans Blvd to Marshall Street, and Hamilton Street from Bradford to Marshall. In conjunction with the fireworks display, the Police Department will implement street closures, and traffic control measures needed to maintain orderly vehicular traffic.
