<br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />GRANT OF REVOCABLE PERMIT <br />FOR <br />(HERKNER SWIM POOL) <br /> <br />Pursuant to the provision of Resolution No. 13280 <br /> <br />of the Council of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City, adopted February 9 <br /> <br />, 1998, permission is hereby <br /> <br />granted to the Peninsula Covenant Church, ("Permittee"), to use certain facilities <br /> <br />at the property known as 1315 Madison Avenue, Redwood City, California, and <br /> <br />also known as the Herkner Swim Pool (the "Facilities"), owned by the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City ("City"), under the terms and conditions set forth below. <br /> <br />This revocable permit (the "Permit") is granted subject to the following <br /> <br />terms and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Use; Services. <br /> <br />(a) Permittee's Duties: <br /> <br />(i) <br /> <br />Permittee shall have the exclusive use of the Facilities from <br /> <br />February 15 to April 15, 1998. <br /> <br />(ii) <br /> <br />Permittee shall staff the Facilities with certified lifeguards, as <br /> <br />determined by the Director of Parks and Recreation. <br /> <br />(iii) <br /> <br />Permittee shall be responsible for opening and closing the <br /> <br />Facilities. <br /> <br />(iv) <br /> <br />Permittee shall be responsible for cleaning the Facilities and <br /> <br />providing all supplies in connection therewith. <br /> <br />(v) <br /> <br />Permittee shall pay for all utilities for the building in which the <br /> <br />swimming pool is located upon presentation of an invoice by the City.
