This event is not an annual event. The permission herein granted is to Excite@Home (hereinafter for convenience called "Permittee") by the City of Redwood City (hereinafter called the "City"). This permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. Name of Event: The Excite@Home company meeting and celebration shall be sponsored and conducted by the Permittee. 2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City of Redwood City. 3. Non-Transferability : This permit is non-transferable. 4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be conducted on Broadway between Douglas Avenue and Second Avenue. Vehicular traffic on Broadway will be prohibited. 5. Dates and Time: The event shall be conducted on July 28, 2000, between 12:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Broadway will be closed to vehicular traffic between 4:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. 6. Course Control: Those portions of the event taking place in the public right-of-way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area designated by the Chief of Police. Should the Chief of Police determine that the provision of police officers is required for the control of traffic in connection with said event, Permittee agrees to reimburse the City for costs associated with the event. 1
