<br />Dear Ms. Raiser:

<br />Pursuant to Section 33A.17 of the Redwood City Code of Ordinances, the Raiser
<br />Organization is hereby granted permission to conduct the "Jazz at the Plaza" series
<br />of concerts on City property subject to, and in accordance with, the terms and
<br />conditions stated herein.
<br />
<br />The permission herein is granted to the Raiser Organization (hereinafter, for
<br />convenience, called "Permittee"). This permit is subject to the following terms and
<br />--GOnditions:
<br />
<br />1.
<br />
<br />Name of Event:
<br />the Permittee.
<br />
<br />"Jazz at the Plaza" shall be sponsored and conducted by
<br />
<br />2.
<br />
<br />Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the
<br />City of Redwood City.
<br />
<br />3.
<br />
<br />Non-Transferability:
<br />
<br />This permit is nop,-transferable.
<br />
<br />4.
<br />
<br />Location: "Jazz at the Plaza" will be held in the plaza adjacent to City
<br />Center Plaza and City Hall.
<br />
<br />5.
<br />
<br />Dates and Time: The event shall be conducted on June 30, July 7,
<br />July 14, July 21, July 28, August 4, and August 11,2000, between 6:00 p.m.
<br />until 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />6.
<br />
<br />Course Control: Those portions of the event taking place in the public
<br />right-of-way shall occur in a manner, and shall be limited to that area,
<br />designated by the Chief of Police. Should the Chief of Police determine that
<br />the provision of police officers is required for the control of traffic in
<br />connection with said event, Permittee agrees to reimburse the City for costs
<br />associated with the event.
