Tax exempt effective <br />November 10, 1969. <br /> <br />\~ <br /> <br />GRANT OF EASEMENT <br /> <br />~IS OF EASEMENT ("Agreement") is made as of the 27~ay <br />of , 1996 by REDWOOD SHORES PROPERTIES, a California <br />joint v nture general partnership ("Grantor"), to THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California <br />("Grantee"). <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. Grantor is the owner of that certain real property <br />located in the City of Redwood city, County of San Mateo, State of <br />California, as more particularly described in Exhibit A attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference ("Lot A") and in <br />Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference <br />(BLot BM). <br /> <br />B. Grantor has offered to Grantee public service easements, <br />as defined under section 8306 of the Streets and Highways Code <br />(BPublic Service EasementM) for underground public services and <br />operating, repairing, and maintaining underground public sanitary <br />sewer lines and facilities and storm drains to service Lot A, Lot B <br />and other real property (collectively, the -Easement UsesM) in, <br />upon, under, over, across, and through those certain portions of <br />Lot A described in Exhibit C attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by this reference (collectively, the BEasement Area-). <br /> <br />C. Grantee is willing to accept these easements upon the <br />terms and conditions set forth below. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, for valuable consideration, the receipt and <br />sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties hereby <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Grant of Easement.
