. � <br /> ORDINANCE NO P- 251 � OO p� I I <br /> ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE <br /> AGREEMENT WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (LAND LEASE) <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS <br /> Section 1 Public heanng having been duly noticed for and held on <br /> October 26 2011 on the question of approval of the lease agreement <br /> hereinafter descnbed (MP-546 the Lease Agreement ) and pursuant to the <br /> prowsions of Section 48 the Charter of the City of Redwood City the Board of <br /> Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood City does hereby approve that <br /> Lease Agreement by and between the City of Redwood City acting by and <br /> through its Board of Port Commissioners ( Lessor") and the United States of <br /> Amenca ("Lessee ) which Lease Agreement provides for a term commencing <br /> on October 1 2011 and ending September 30 2021 for the irntial annual rental <br /> of Twenty Three Thousand Nine Hundred Forty Two and 66/100 Dollars <br /> ($23 942 66) for premises located at the Port of Redwood City Califomia next to <br /> Wharf 5(the Leased Premises ) consisting of approximately 3 000 square feet <br /> and more particularly defined in the Lease Agreement The rent is sub�ect to <br /> yearly increases The Lease Agreement may be terminated by either party after <br /> January 1 2012 by giving the other party a 90 day wntten notice <br /> � <br /> 70/05/11 <br /> FXS <br />
