� <br /> ,.. <br /> CIVIC CULTURAL COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES OF THURSDAY, MARCH 3, 1994 <br /> COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairperson Filippi, Commissioners Ball, <br /> Distefano, Fischer, Moran, Piulle and <br /> Redington <br /> COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None <br /> GUESTS PRESENT: Burt and Marjorie Liebert, Steven Penna, Geri Mayers, <br /> Don Saye, Bonnie Miller, Michael Venneri, William <br /> Richardson, Tom Bishop, jeff Richardson, Mary Filippi, <br /> Jeff Harm, Penny Richardson, Sandy Barr, Wayne Barr, <br /> Paul Maynes <br /> STAFF PRESENT: Superintendent Sally Hartman, Recreation Supervisor <br /> Julie Hannon, Center Coordinator Magda Gonzalez, <br /> Library Supervisor Linda Hedges, and Secretary Denise <br /> Monroe <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was called to order at <br /> 7:OOpm by Chairperson Jeff Filippi in Room 5 of the Community Activities <br /> Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The minutes of the February meeting were approved as mailed. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> -A letter was received from the Peninsula Musical Theater thanking the <br /> Commission for the Fox Theater grant. <br /> -A letter was received from the San Mateo County Arts Council thanking the <br /> Commission for their membership in the Council. <br /> -An invitation was received to a breakfast buffet from the Friends of Douglass <br /> Hall to be held on March 13 at the Stanford Park Hotel. <br /> -Complimentary tickets were received to the March 4 performance of "Guys <br /> and Dolls" presented by the Kennedy School Drama Department. <br /> -Commissioner Piulle presented a copy of the Art Center's new newsletter for <br /> the Commissioners' review. <br /> -Chairperson Filippi presented a copy of a letter from All Saints Catholic <br /> School in Hayward congratulating Pam Thornberg on her successful class <br /> programs. <br />
