CIVIC CULTURAL COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES OF THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7,1995 <br /> COMMISSIONERS PRESENf: Chairperson Redington, Commissioners <br /> Ball, Distefano, Filippi, Fischer, Piulle and Saye <br /> COMMISSIONERS ABSENT: None <br /> GUESTS PRESENT: Rosine Bena, Nanry Nichols, Lori Myers, Carol <br /> Milestone, Steve Penna, Ralph Garcia, Barbara Pierce, Pat <br /> Nugent, Dr. Ricardo Balderas, Ed Nordness, Paul Sanfilipo <br /> STAFF PRESENT: Superintendent Sally Hartman, Supervisor Julie <br /> Hannon, Library Supervisor Linda Hedges, and Secretary <br /> Denise Monroe <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was caIled to order by <br /> Chairperson Oliver Redington at 7:04pm in Room 1 of the Community <br /> Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The minutes of the November meeting were approved as mailed. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE <br /> The following correspondence was received: <br /> -A letter from Honorary Chairpersons Pete and Paula Uccelli of the Red <br /> Morton Fund Raising Committee thanking the Commission for its donation <br /> of$100.00 towards the purchase of a paver. <br /> -El Camino Youth Symphony announcement of a holiday pops concert on <br /> December 17 at Foothill College. <br /> -A showing of Paintbrush Diplomacy artwork at the World Trade Center in <br /> San Francisco. <br /> -An activities brochure from the San Mateo County Arts Council. <br /> -A newsletter from the Veterans Memorial Senior Center. <br /> -An announcement of a dance to be held at the Veterans Memorial Senior <br /> Center on December 21. <br /> -A newsletter from the Sequoia Alumni Association. <br /> -Minutes of the November 30 PACTAC meeting. <br />
