HRAC RESOLUTION NO. 13-04 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY <br /> COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY DETERMINING THAT <br /> THE PROPOSED PALACIO APARTMENTS PROJECT WILL NOT HAVE <br /> AN ADVERSE IMPACT ON THE MEZESVILLE HISTORIC DISTRICT, <br /> AND RECOMMENDING THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVE <br /> THE ASSOCIATED PLANNED COMMUNITY PERMIT <br /> WHEREAS, Applicant, The Acclaim Companies, has applied for a Downtown <br /> Planned Community Permit to construct 133 apartments at 439 Fuller Street, to be <br /> known as The Palacio Apartments; and <br /> WHEREAS, under Section 2. 1 .4. D of the Downtown Precise Plan (DTPP), <br /> projects on properties located directly adjacent to an historic property as designated <br /> on the Historic Resources Preservation Regulations Map shall be reviewed by a <br /> qualified architect or architectural historian for potential impacts to the adjacent historic <br /> resource; and <br /> WHEREAS , the proposed project is adjacent to the Mezesville Historic District; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS , Richard Brandi, a qualified Historian on the City's list of approved <br /> Historical Consultants, has reviewed the proposed project and found that there will be <br /> no adverse impacts to the Mezesville Historic District; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Historic Resources Advisory Committee has reviewed the <br /> proposed plans and historian's report, and has determined that the associated project <br /> will not have an adverse impact on the Mezesville Historic District. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br /> ADVISORY COMMITTEE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1 . The HRAC recommends that the Planning Commission approve <br /> the Downtown Planned Community Permit for the Palacio Apartments. <br /> Section 2.
