Consultant shall prepare the topographic base maps and shal be completed in AUTOCAD capable of plotting at scale of 1"=20'. Text information and other entities shall be readable at this scale when plotted on a plan and profile sheet. Final plotted text height shall be 0.1". 3. Consultant shall set street center line stations at every 50 feet on tangent and 25 feet stations on curves. Survey station shall be at the center of the street at 50 feet intervals, beginning at centerline of street intersections or manholes unless otherwise noted on the project area map (see attached map). Consultant shall indicate spot elevations at each 50 foot station, center line, and lip of gutter or edge of pavement, face of curb at flow line, back of curb, sidewalk, planting strip or landscape area and right-of-way line or property line. 4. Consultant shall extend base map topographic survey 25 feet beyond centerline of end manholes and shall extend 50 feet beyond street intersections in all possible directions unless otherwise noted. (See attached map). Sunrey stationing 1+00 shall start at center�ine of street intersection or centerline of manholes unless otherwise noted. Location map with notations of recommended starting point of Station is attached. 5. Consultant shall use Redwood City Datum in preparing the topographic survey. The City will provide the location of the nearest benchmark. Benchmark information used shall be noted on the topographic survey. Consultant shall use North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). 6. Consultant shall use the City's standard legend for drafting annotations. 7. The City shall request As-Built/Record Drawings from utility companies (Comcast, PG&E, AT&T, Astound, Pacific Bell, South Bayside System Authority, MCI, Cal water and RCN). The City shall provide the as-builUrecord drawings to the consultant for inclusion in the survey base map. If additional as- built/record drawings are required to complete the base map, consultant shall obtain records from corresponding utility companies. PROJECT SCHEDULE: Consultant shall complete the work within ninety (90) calendar days after receiving written authorization, the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
