EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> PROJECT OVERVIEW: <br /> The City received a development application for the proposed La Palma project on <br /> KentField Avenue on three (3) existing parcels developed with three (3) existing single- <br /> family dwellings, located at 1675, 1679, and 1685 Kentfield Avenue in the City of <br /> Redwood City. The parcels total approximately 43,560 square feet. Consultant will <br /> provide environmental review of the proposed project in accordance with the tasks <br /> identified below. <br /> TASK 1: PROJECT INITIATION <br /> Consultant will consult with City of Redwood City staff to gather all relevant project <br /> correspondence, and review and finalize the project schedule. � <br /> TASK 2: PREPARE IS/MND <br /> Subtask 2.1: Prepare Administrative Draft IS/MND <br /> Consultant will prepare an Administrative Draft IS and Negative Declaration (ND) or <br /> MND, including a completed environmental checklist consistent with Appendix G of the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines. The IS will address each of <br /> the environmental parameters identified in the checklist. <br /> A traffic study was conducted for Kentfield I (KentField I was a similar project proposed <br /> for Kentfield Avenue a few parcels away from the proposed project) in 2009. This study <br /> will be evaluated for applicability to the proposed project. The Kentfield <br /> Avenue/Woodside Road intersection will be evaluated for effects from the addition of <br /> the trips that would be generated by the proposed project. <br /> Deliverable: 3 hard copies of the Administrative Draft IS/MND, with an electronic copy in <br /> Word for editing, will be submitted to City staff for review and comment. <br /> Subtask 2.2: Prepare Check Draft IS/MND <br /> Consultant will address and incorporate City comments on the Administrative Draft <br /> IS/MND and prepare the Check Draft for City review. <br /> Deliverable: 3 hard copies of the Check Draft, with an electronic copy showing tracked <br /> changes, will be submitted to City staff for review and comment. <br /> Subtask 2.3: Prepare IS/MND for Distribution <br /> Consultant will incorporate City comments on the Check Draft and produce the IS/MND <br /> for public review. The IS/MND will not be sent to the State Clearinghouse because it is <br /> not a project of regional importance.
