07/28/2014 <br /> Prepare oral and written reports and recommendations clearly, logically and concisely. <br /> Exercise significant maturity, confidentiality and judgment. <br /> Work with sensitivity within a complex labor relations environment. <br /> Meet with employees at all levels to discuss and resolve problems tactfully, courteously <br /> and effectively. <br /> Prepare and present persuasive arguments/recommendations. <br /> Communicate effectively orally in and writing with a variety of individuals, including City <br /> officials, management staff, employees and service providers. <br /> EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: <br /> Experience: <br /> Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required <br /> knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and <br /> abilities would be: <br /> Four years of progressively responsible experience in the administration of <br /> human resources or risk management programs with at least two years in <br /> the area of Workers' Compensation. Supervisory experience is highly <br /> desirable. <br /> Education: <br /> Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with <br /> major course work in finance, public administration, business administration or a <br /> related field.
