�_ }. _ _ <br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Desiqn Review of Downtown Proiects <br /> Task 1: As requested in writing by the Community Development Director, or designee, <br /> and based on plans provided by City, Consultant shall review for conformance to the <br /> design standards of the Downtown Precise Plan development proposals for all new <br /> buildings, major renovations, and any exterior modifications to any historic structure <br /> within the area regulated by the Downtown Precise Plan. <br /> Task 2: Consultant shall participate in, and provide oral comments, as appropriate, to <br /> identify any variations or exceptions to the Downtown Precise Plan as part of the Project <br /> Review Committee evaluation of projects subject to the regulations of the Downtown <br /> Precise Plan. <br /> Task 3: Consultant shall provide written comments to the City's Planning project <br /> manager outlining any variations or exceptions in a project regulated by the Downtown <br /> Precise Plan. <br /> Task 4: Consultant shall be available to meet with project proponents at City Hall or a <br /> mutually agreeable location to discuss and work to resolve any design variations or <br /> exceptions to the Downtown Precise Plan. <br /> Task 5: Consultant shall provide written recommendations to the Planning project <br /> manager as to the acceptability of the project pursuant to the Downtown Precise Plan. <br /> Task 6: As necessary, Consultant will provide architectural review assistance for <br /> projects throughout the City. <br /> Task 7: As requested in writing by the Community Development Director, or designee, <br /> Consultant shall attend Architectural Advisory Committee meetings to discuss proposed <br /> deviations to the guidelines for a particular project. <br /> Schedule <br /> Task 1: Within 2 weeks of receipt of plans for the proposed development <br /> Task 2: As needed. <br /> Task 3: Within 1 week of Project Review Committee meeting <br /> Task 4: As needed, but within 1 week of request by applicant for meeting. <br /> REV: 07-14-14 VR <br /> Page 9 of 10 <br />
