The people on Maple <br /> Street keep going and the people on the Main Street have to stop. He would like the <br /> City to relook at that intersection, because Main Street is now the main thoroughfare. <br /> Council Member Seybert said that on April 17 the City PAC will be hosting its Annual <br /> Bocce Ball in Los Gatos. There is a team by the City Council and he would like anyone <br /> to join or attend. Mayor Gee encouraged people to go the Bocce Ball event. He said <br /> that last Friday he attended the League of California Cities' Policy Committee meeting <br /> and heard a lot of legislation about local control. But, the good news is that it seems <br /> that the Governor might not be taking money from the cities. He wants to pay off the <br /> debt. The Mayor also reported on the State of the City Address. He thanked the City <br /> Clerk and her team and Teri Chin, Human Relations Manager, and her team, and Parks <br /> and Recreation Community Commissioner Connie Guerrero for the successful event. <br /> This Thursday, they will be giving the same presentation at the Veterans Memorial <br /> Senior Center. <br /> B. City Council Committee Reports <br /> C. City Manager (Oral) Update <br /> Dr. Bell added that Deputy Chief Gary Kirby and Sgt. Greg Farley went to Sacramento <br /> and testified to the Committee in support of the sunset of the massage regulations. <br /> Also, he added that he would like to join the Bocce ball team. Lastly, he mentioned <br /> about the Closed Session negotiations with labor and he confirmed he had received <br /> direction from Council. <br /> D.
