City Clerk Vonderlinden gave a brief history to the City Council of the Phase I <br /> Recruitment for Boards Commissions and Committees' Seats. She covered the process <br /> as it related to public announcements, an orientation, and the interview process. <br /> Thereafter, the City Clerk asked each Council Member to provide names for the expiring <br /> seats. <br /> The appointees to the Civic Cultural Commission are as follows: <br /> ➢ Warren Dale (votes by: Howard, Pierce, Seybert and Gee) <br /> ➢ Marilyn Nita (votes by: all six Council Members present) <br /> ➢ Jason Seifer (votes by: all six Council Members present) <br /> MINUTE ORDER 14-080 <br /> One additional applicant (Deborah Shea) received one vote from Council Member <br /> Aguirre. <br /> The appointees to the Housing and Human Concerns Committee are as follows: <br /> ➢ Tivana George (votes by: Seybert, Aguirre, Foust, and Gee) <br /> ➢ Bonnie Noell Miller (votes by: all six Council Members present) <br /> ➢ Alma Montalvo (votes by: all six Council Members present) <br /> ➢ Cherlene Wright (votes by: all six Council Members present) <br /> MINUTE ORDER 14-081 <br /> Two additional applicants Ellen Kushin and Diana Reddy got one vote each. He encouraged the candidates that did not win <br /> to consider other Boards, Commissions, and Committees or other opportunities like the <br /> Library Foundation. The Mayor also addressed the members, who were no longer <br /> reappointed, in that they will be recognized and honored at the holiday event later this <br /> year in December.
