ORIGINAL <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> FOR <br /> HISTORIC PROPERTY PRESERVATION <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 61 day ofaep b2' , <br /> 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of the State of California, hereinafter called ("City"), and Michael and <br /> Kathleen Harris hereinafter called ("Owner"); <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> It) WHEREAS, California Government Code Sections 50280, et. seq. authorize <br /> N <br /> tra cities to enter into contracts with the owners of qualified historical property to provide for <br /> Imo <br /> (1 N <br /> I°° the use, maintenance and restoration of such historical property so to retain its <br /> characteristics as property of historical significance; and <br /> NNE <br /> WHEREAS, Owner(s) possess(es) fee title in and to that certain real property, <br /> EEEEE <br /> together with associated structures and improvements thereon, and generally located at <br /> EEEEE <br /> 197 Wellesley Crescent, known as "The Daniel Stafford House" Redwood City, <br /> California 94062 (hereinafter such property shall be referred to as the "Historic <br /> Property"). A legal description of the Historic Property is attached hereto, marked as <br /> EEEEE Exhibit "A," and is incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> WHEREAS, on December 10, 2001, the City Council of the City of Redwood City <br /> declared and designated the Historic Property as a historic landmark pursuant to the <br /> terms and provisions of Chapter 40, Historic Preservation of the Redwood City <br /> Municipal Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, City and Owner, for their mutual benefit, now desire to enter into this <br /> agreement both to protect and preserve the characteristics of historical significance of <br /> MillsActAg Formd/Redwood/Council/Agmt 11IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 200 001 2 10 09070 <br /> 12/20/21 112901 <br />
