<br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR MEZESVILLE
<br /> HISTORIC DISTRICT
<br /> WHEREAS, in July 2005, City consultants "Circa-Historic Property Development"
<br /> prepared a district evaluation report on the Mezesville area, setting forth with
<br /> particularity, compliance by this proposed district with the Redwood City Historic
<br /> Preservation Ordinance, a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk's office; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the Historic Resources Advisory Committee and the Redwood City
<br /> Planning Commission have considered and recommended the creation of the
<br /> Mezesville Historic District; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the proposed Mezesville Historic District contains a total of 77
<br /> separate parcels, 52 of those parcels would be considered contributing to the district
<br /> and be designated historic resources; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the proposed historic district consists of the following addresses and
<br /> related assessor's parcel numbers (the addresses and parcel numbers of contributing
<br /> properties are in bold) 227, 245, 235, 238, 318, 330, 334, 411, 413, 415 Alden; 702,
<br /> 717, 806, 719, 815, 822, 903, 1027, 1126, 1206 Allerton; 1200, 1203, 1209, 1219, 1227
<br /> Arguello; 634, 702, 710, 718, 726, 734 Brewster; 702, 712, 718, 727, 728, 735, 811,
<br /> 812, 819, 821, 828 Hopkins; 240, 280, 410 Howland; 235, 243, 311, 319, 327, 335, 403,

<br /> property as indicated by the assessor's parcel number ("APN"); and
<br /> WHEREAS, Exhibit B entitled Mezesville/Centennial Historic District Proposal,
<br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, outlines the boundaries of
<br /> and properties included in the Mezesville Historic District; and
<br /> WHEREAS, the proposed area contains improvements which have a special
<br /> character, historic interest, and aesthetic value and which represent several
