If ponded water is observed,the surFace soils shall be <br /> removed and replaced with sand. <br /> • The use of pesticides and quick-release synthetic fertilizers shall not be <br /> used. <br /> • Soils and plantings must be maintained,including routine pruning, <br /> replenishment of mulch and weeding. Mulch replacement should be done <br /> prior to the start of the wet season. <br /> • Erosion at inflow,outflow and overflow points must be repaired. <br /> • A biannual health evaluation of the trees and shrubs and subsequent <br /> removal of any dead or diseased vegetation. Diseased vegetation should <br /> be treated as needed using preventative and low-toxic measures to the <br /> e�ent possible. <br /> • Inspections for invasive aggressive plant species such as cattails,which <br /> increase the chances of water standing and subsequent vector production. <br /> Media Fiftration Vault <br /> - Media fflter system shall be inspected once a year.
