Page 1 of 4 <br /> 7.1.A. - Page 5 <br /> AGREEMENT FOR EXTENDED DAY ACADEMIC AND ENRICHMENT <br /> SERVICES BETWEEN THE REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> This Agreement is made as of this 11th day of June, 2014 by and between the Redwood City <br /> School District("RCSD") and the City of Redwood City ("CONTRACTOR")to provide <br /> extended day academic and enrichment services. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. SERVICES <br /> The CONTRACTOR agrees to provide extended day academic and enrichment services <br /> as described in the RCSD Extended Day Program& School Minimum Expectations <br /> contained in Attachment A and the RCSD Extended Day Policies and Protocols <br /> contained in Attachment B at the following school sites: Fair Oaks, Hawes, Hoover, John <br /> Gill, and Selby Lane. The RCSD will provide necessary supports to the <br /> CONTRACTOR, as described in Attachment A. If applicable, the CONTRACTOR will <br /> refer 21°Century Community Learning Center families to existing literacy and related <br /> educational development services. <br /> The CONTRACTOR agrees to utilize the computer system (City Span) provided by the <br /> RCSD to enter daily attendance. Any technical difficulties associated with utilizing this <br /> system will be reported within 72 hours. <br /> 2. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS <br /> CONTRACTOR shall provide all equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to <br /> perform the academic and enrichment services for the RCSD in accordance with the <br /> terms, conditions and specifications set forth herein and in Attachments A and B. <br /> 3. USE OF SUBCONTRACTORS <br /> CONTRACTOR shall not assign this Agreement or any portion thereof to a third party <br /> without the prior written consent of RCSD. <br /> 4. LICENSES AND PERMITS <br /> CONTRACTOR shall obtain and keep in force all licenses, permits, and certificates <br /> necessary for the performance of this Agreement. <br /> 5. INSURANCE <br /> CONTRACTOR understands the RCSD does not provide liability, malpractice, or <br /> workers' compensation insurance for the CONTRACTOR. The CONTRACTOR is <br /> responsible for maintaining personal and professional insurance to provide protection for <br /> any claims arising out of services provided under this Agreement. The CONTRACTOR <br /> assumes all liability for services provided under this Agreement. The CONTRACTOR <br /> will provide proof of insurance and will identify RCSD as an additional insured. The <br /> CONTRACTOR agrees to provide 30 days' written notice to the RCSD of any pending <br /> change in the limits of liability or of a cancellation or modification of the policy. <br /> ATTY/AGR.2014.147/After School Program Services Agreement Initial I <br /> REV:08-11-14 MLG <br />
