EXHIBIT A <br /> SHINNYO-EN FOUNDATION GRANT <br /> TO <br /> REDWOOD CITY 2020 <br /> FOR <br /> "Stanford Public Interest Network(SPIN)Shinnyo Fellow" <br /> Grant Goal(s)*: <br /> Goals and Objectives: <br /> The SPIN Shinnyo Fellow will expand RWC 2020's organizational capacity by investing his/her <br /> talent on the collaborative's limited personnel resources. He/she will contribute to the Gardner <br /> Center by providing a tangible opportunity to fulfill the Center's commitment to youth <br /> development by supporting a young adult just out of college. The fellow also offers RWC 2020 <br /> the opportunity to assess the organizational steps needed to build and sustain its outcome <br /> evaluation efforts. The fellow will work approximately 30% of time at the Gardner Center and <br /> 70%of time at RWC 2020. <br /> The Fellow's role and responsibilities include: <br /> • Work closely with RWC 2020 leadership, along with Gardner Center representative, to <br /> develop and implement a work plan with tangible goals and collect data for use in <br /> measuring progress toward these goals using agreed upon indicators. <br /> • Serve as the operational liaison between the Gardner Center researchers and RWC 2020 <br /> staff and leaders. <br /> • Link Gardner Center and Haas Center efforts to build capacity for Stanford service- <br /> learning opportunities in Redwood City. <br /> • Serve as the point of contact for Shinnyo-en USA and the Foundation as they continue to <br /> strengthen the partnership with Redwood City and RWC 2020. <br /> • Help increase the Gardner Center and RWC 2020's visibility among students on the <br /> Stanford campus. <br /> • Help increase the Gardner Center and RWC 2020's online presence. <br /> *Any changes or adjustments to the grant goals or objectives must be reviewed by and have the <br /> prior approval of the Foundation. <br /> REV:07-07-14 MLG <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2014.118/Shinnyo-en Foundation Grant Agreement 1415 <br /> 201 Mission Street, Suite 2230 San Francisco, CA 94105 415.777.1977 www.sef.org <br />
