" • DES:djk 02/O1/94 (024/9) <br /> � COPY 2/2$/94 <br /> O R D I N A N C E N O. 1130- 292 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 6 .7 , 8 .7, 9 .7 , AND 10 .7 OF <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1130 , THE REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, <br /> AS AMENDED, RELATING TO LOT WIDTH REQUIREMENTS FOR <br /> DUPLEX CONSTRUCTION ON PARCELS ZONED R-2 (RESIDENTIAL- <br /> DUPLEX) , R-3 (MULTI-FAMILY--LOW DENSITY) , R-4 (MULTI- <br /> FAMILY--MEDIUM DENSITY) , AND R-5 (MULTI-FAMILY--HIGH <br /> DENSITY) <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City <br /> has transmitted to this Council its recommendation that Sections <br /> 6 . 7, 8 .7 , 9 . 7 and 10 .7 of Ordinance No. 1130 , the Redwood City <br /> Zoning Ordinance, as amended, relating to lot width requirements <br /> for duplex construction on parcels zoned R-2 (Residential- <br /> Duplex) , R-3 (Multi-Family--Low Density) , R-4 (Multi-Family-- <br /> Medium Density) , and R-5 (Multi-Family--High Density) be amended; <br /> and " <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, based upon said recommendation and <br /> evidence received at the public hearing held on December 14 , 1993 <br /> regarding said proposed amendments, finds that said amendments <br /> are consistent with the objectives of the Redwood City General <br /> Plan and are in the public interest; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOL�IS: <br /> SECTION 1 . Section 6 . 7 of Ordinance No. 1130 , the Redwood <br /> City Zoning Ordinance, adopted May 11 , 1964, as amended, is <br /> hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 6 .7 . Lot Width. The minimum average lot <br /> width shall be 50 feet for a single-family dwelling and for <br /> a two-family (duplex) dwelling, and 75 feet for a <br /> three-family (triplex) dwelling.
