ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 14-12 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY DENYING THE APPEAL OF EVAN LEE AND <br /> UPHOLDING THE DECISION OF THE ZONING AD6lfilMSTRATOR TO <br /> APPROVE ARCHITECTURAL PERMIT NO . AP2014-04 FOR 3119 OAK <br /> KNOLL DRIVE <br /> WHEREAS , the Applicant, JoAnn Gann , filed an application for Architectural <br /> Permit No . AP2014-04 for an expansion of a second story at the property located at <br /> 3119 Oak Knoll Drive, Redwood City, California ; and <br /> WHEREAS , pursuant to Section 45 .6 et seq of the Zoning Ordinance, the Zoning <br /> Administrator is authorized to review and approve such Architectural Permit; and <br /> WHEREAS , on April 24, 2014 , the Zoning Administrator reviewed the application <br /> and associated materials, to consider approval of Architectural Permit Application <br /> AP2014-04; and <br /> WHEREAS , on April 24, 2014 , the Zoning Administrator issued a Notice of <br /> Official Action for Architectural Permit Application No . AP2014-04, approving the project <br /> because it met the requirements of the Zoning Ordinance; and <br /> WHEREAS , on May 8, 2014, an appeal of the Zoning Administrator's decision to <br /> approve the Architectural Permit was filed with the City Clerk by Mr. Evan Lee <br /> (Appellant); and <br /> WHEREAS , on June 20 , 2014, a public hearing notice was published in The <br /> Redwood City Daily News and mailed to interested parties and all property owners <br /> within 300 feet of the Property; and <br /> WHEREAS , on July 1 , 2014, the Planning Commission of the City of Redwood <br /> City held a duly noticed public hearing in accordance with all applicable requirements of <br /> the State Planning and Zoning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance , to <br /> consider the appeal ; and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 1 , 2014, the Appellant and all other interested parties were <br /> given the opportunity to participate in the public hearing through oral testimony and the <br /> submittal of written comments; and <br /> WHEREAS , on July 1 , 2014, the Planning Commission fully reviewed , <br /> considered , and evaluated the staff reports prepared for the Project including the <br /> ATTY/RESO.2998/PC RESO DENYING APPEAL FOR 3119 OAK KNOLL DR <br /> REV: 07-15-14 VR <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
