Box 3046 Redwood City, CA 94064 Dear Mr. Hunter, The City Council on September 9th, 2014, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting the Redwood City Education Foundation to conduct the 2014 OktobeRun Event. This event is subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. Permission is granted to the Redwood City Education Foundation ("Permittee") by the City of Redwood City ("City"). The permit is subject to the following terms and conditions: 1 . Name of Event: The 2014 OktobeRun shall be conducted by the Permittee. 2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the City. Any revocation will be accompanied by prompt written notice to Permittee. Where possible, City will provide Permittee an opportunity to cure any circumstance giving rise to City's decision to revoke this permit. 3. Non-Transferability: This permit is non-transferable. 4. Location: The activities herein permitted shall be on portions on Seaport Court, Seaport Blvd, Blomquist St, Maple St, the Bridge to Nowhere, Bair Island Road until connecting to the Bay Trail. A map is attached for reference. 5. Date and Time: The 2014 OktobeRun shall be conducted on Saturday October 4th, 2014. Set-up shall begin at approximately 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, with the event commencing at 8:00 am and ending by 11 :00. The course shall be completely cleared and the roadway reopened by 1 :00 p.m.. 6. Course Control: Those portions of the 2014 OktobeRun taking place in the public right-of-way shall occur in a manner and shall be limited to that area designated by the Police Chief.
