The bulletin board may be used for lawful political or campaign notices. <br /> 3.4 Advance Notice <br /> The Union shall be notified of any creation of or change to an ordinance, rule, resolution or regulation within <br /> the scope of representation proposed to be adopted by the City Council, by any board or commission of the <br /> City or by any department and the Union shall be given the opportunity to meet and confer or consult on the <br /> impact of such ordinance, rule, resolution, or regulation prior to its adoption by the City Council, board or <br /> commission of the City or any department. In cases of emergency when City management determines that <br /> an ordinance, rule, regulation, or resolution must be adopted immediately, without prior notice or meeting <br /> with the Union, the City shall provide the Union such notice and the opportunity to meet and confer or <br /> consult on the impact of such ordinance, rule, resolution, or regulation at the earliest practical time following <br /> the adoption of such ordinance, rule, resolution or regulation. <br /> 3.5 Availability of Data <br /> The City shall make available to the Union such non-confidential information pertaining to employment <br /> relations as is contained in the public records of the agency subject to the limitations and conditions set forth <br /> in the Employer-Employee Relations Resolution adopted by the City Council on August 7,1972, and <br /> Government Code Sections 6250 et seq. Such information shall be made available during regular working <br /> hours in accordance with the City's rules and procedures for making public records available and after <br /> payment of reasonable costs, if any,where applicable. <br /> 3.6 Unit Workers <br /> The City shall supply the Union with the names, classifications and addresses (with the individual worker's <br /> consent) of all present and newly hired workers in the SEIU unit on a quarterly basis. The worker's consent <br /> shall be given on a form agreed to by the City and the Union. Copies of all new forms(including changes to <br /> previously submitted forms) shall be furnished to the Union by the City. On a quarterly basis the City shall <br /> supply the Union with the names and classifications of all contract workers, and the names, classifications, <br /> departments and fiscal year to date cumulative hours worked of all casual workers, assigned to <br /> classifications within the Local 521 bargaining unit. <br /> 3.7 New Workers <br /> New workers hired and assigned to classifications covered by the SEIU Unit shall be advised by the City <br /> that Local 521, Service Employees International Union, is the recognized bargaining representative in said <br /> unit. The City agrees to distribute to all new workers in the SEIU Unit a reasonable amount of materials <br /> provided by the Union at its expense. <br /> 3.8 Printing of the Agreement <br /> The Union agrees that the Union shall complete the printing of this Agreement. The Union and the City will <br /> share equally in the printing costs. The cover of the agreement shall bear both the City and Union Logo. <br /> The Union agrees to provide each bargaining unit member with a copy of this Agreement. The Union <br /> agrees to provide the Personnel Officer with sufficient copies of this Agreement so that each new bargaining <br /> unit worker hired through the life of this Agreement shall be provided with a copy of this Agreement. <br /> 3 <br />
