CGM:jp:l/30/78 <br /> R E S O L U T I O N NO. 7991 ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION GRANTING EXCEPTIONS TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS FEB 6, 1978 <br /> OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY - HOWARD A. THOMPSON <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 30. 6 of the Code of the City <br /> of Redwood City the Planning Commission has recommended <br /> approval of the application of the subdivider of the real <br /> property herein described for exceptions to the provisions of <br /> Chapter 30 of the Code of the City of Redwood City with <br /> respect to the proposed subdivision as follows: <br /> To allow parcels 1 and 2 to have less than <br /> 6,000 square feet of area; <br /> WHEREAS, the property for which application for exception <br /> is made is that certain real property situate in the City of <br /> Redwood City, County of San Mateo, State of California, de- <br /> scribed as follows: <br /> 450 Carlos Avenue; having 0. 278 acres <br /> commencing 110 feet northeasterly from <br /> corner of Murray Terrace Acreage; Assessor's <br /> Parcel No. 059-121-270; "R-1" (Residential <br /> Single Family) District; <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has found and reported <br /> to this Council that exceptional circumstances and conditions <br /> exist which affect said property; that the exceptions <br /> applied for are necessary for preservation and enjoyment of <br /> substantial property rights of petitioner; that the granting <br /> of said exceptions will not be detrimental to the public <br /> welfare or be injurious to other property in the neighborhood <br /> in which the property is situated; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds and declares as follows: <br /> (a) The proposed subdivision is consistent with <br /> the General Plan of the City of Redwood City; <br /> 7 9 91 <br />
