ASSET RECOVERY, RECYCLE & REUSE
At Silverado we are dedicated to helping protect the environment. We separate waste
streams to ensure that we recycle or reuse as much material possible. Concrete, structural
steel and timbers all have a value above that of basic demolition debris. We take pride in
the fact that on the majority of our projects we exceed 75% in recycling or reuse of
material. By reselling salvaged material and equipment, Silverado can offer our clients the
best asset recovery value for the job.
At Mills Peninsula Hospital, Silverado
pulled two Cat Diesel Generators from
the lower basement levels and sold them
to a reuse supplier out of state. As well,
all of the concrete was crushed and
recycled on site.
All recyclable materials are removed
from buildings during the
demolition process and sold to
scrap yards or appropriate vendors
for reuse.

7.1.D. - Page 63
