This meeting is especially helpful in bringing training resources to cities and providing Redwood City the opportunity to vote on statewide League policy issues. This year’s most valuable sessions were Government to Governance: forging Successful Public-Private Partnerships, The Elephant NOT In the Room – Documenting the Silent Majority and Getting to YES! Ballot Box Strategies to Protect/Generate Funding. All of the sessions have their materials on the league website and are a valuable resource for materials and knowledgeable consultants. Reports must be submitted to the City Clerk of no later than the Wednesday of the week before the next City Council meeting. Reports must be submitted before the City of Redwood City will pay per diem or reimbursement for the conference or the meeting.
