Agreement No. 48400-15-D001 <br />Exhibit A <br />Agreement between the County of San Mateo and City of Redwood Citv <br />1. Description of Services to be Performed bv Gontractor <br />ln consideration of the payments set forth in Section 2, Amount and Method of Pavment, Contractor shall <br />provide the following services. <br />Contractor (City of Redwood City) shallfurnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and <br />supervision necessary to provide complete and continuous care of all lawn, trees, shrubs, and ground covers, <br />for ongoing maintenance and other landscaping services at Garfield School Playing Fields as per attached <br />Proposal (Exhibit "8"). Contractor shall submit a cost report to the County for any additional work needed. The <br />County and Contractor shall agree to the scope and cost of any additional work and the additional work shall <br />authorized in writing by the Director of Public Works or his designated representative before said work is <br />performed. <br />Contractor shall walk the entire site each month with a County representative to ensure that all operations are <br />being completed in a satisfactory manner. <br />Contractor shall obtain all licenses and permits required by city, county and state authorities. <br />The term of this Agreement is for October 1, 2Q14 to June 30, 2016 a twenty-one month period at the fees <br />quoted on the attached Proposal dated August 18,2014. <br />2. Amount and Method of Pavment <br />ln consideration of the services provided by Contractor pursuant to Section 1, Description of Services to be <br />Performed bv Contractor, and subject to the terms of the Agreement, County shall pay Contractor based on <br />the following schedule and terms: <br />Please see attached exhibit "8" for rate schedule <br />Payment shall be made upon receipt of a written itemized invoice identifying the County project number, <br />complete scope of work, specific work completed, number of hours involved and breakdown of charges. <br />ln any event, the total payment for services shall not exceed $60,595.00 (Sixty Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety <br />Five Dollars and No/00). <br />Year 1: $34,625.00 per year less $8,656.00 for three months paid through Amendment No. 1 under Agreement <br />No. 45000-13-D001 in FY 2014-15. Total paid in FY 2014-15 per this Agreement shall not exceed <br />$25,970.00 <br />Year 2: ln FY 2015-16 total paid shall not exceed $34,625.00 <br />ln any event, the County shall have the right to withhold payment if the County determines that the quantity <br />and/or quality of the work performed is unacceptable. <br />REV: 09-04-14 MLG <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTY/AGR/2014.163/COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br />7.1.B. - Page 10
