Agreement No. 48400-15-D001 Exhibit A Agreement between the County of San Mateo and City of Redwood Citv 1. Description of Services to be Performed bv Gontractor ln consideration of the payments set forth in Section 2, Amount and Method of Pavment, Contractor shall provide the following services. Contractor (City of Redwood City) shallfurnish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and supervision necessary to provide complete and continuous care of all lawn, trees, shrubs, and ground covers, for ongoing maintenance and other landscaping services at Garfield School Playing Fields as per attached Proposal (Exhibit "8"). Contractor shall submit a cost report to the County for any additional work needed. The County and Contractor shall agree to the scope and cost of any additional work and the additional work shall authorized in writing by the Director of Public Works or his designated representative before said work is performed. Contractor shall walk the entire site each month with a County representative to ensure that all operations are being completed in a satisfactory manner. Contractor shall obtain all licenses and permits required by city, county and state authorities. The term of this Agreement is for October 1, 2Q14 to June 30, 2016 a twenty-one month period at the fees quoted on the attached Proposal dated August 18,2014. 2. Amount and Method of Pavment ln consideration of the services provided by Contractor pursuant to Section 1, Description of Services to be Performed bv Contractor, and subject to the terms of the Agreement, County shall pay Contractor based on the following schedule and terms: Please see attached exhibit "8" for rate schedule Payment shall be made upon receipt of a written itemized invoice identifying the County project number, complete scope of work, specific work completed, number of hours involved and breakdown of charges. ln any event, the total payment for services shall not exceed $60,595.00 (Sixty Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety Five Dollars and No/00). Year 1: $34,625.00 per year less $8,656.00 for three months paid through Amendment No. 1 under Agreement No. 45000-13-D001 in FY 2014-15. Total paid in FY 2014-15 per this Agreement shall not exceed $25,970.00 Year 2: ln FY 2015-16 total paid shall not exceed $34,625.00 ln any event, the County shall have the right to withhold payment if the County determines that the quantity and/or quality of the work performed is unacceptable.
