www.silveradocontractors.com
ALL ACCIDENTS ARE PREVENTABLE
Safety is a major concern at any demolition site, but at Silverado it is the foremost concern. We
recognize that demolition sites can be dangerous places, but with pre-task planning, teamwork,
training, communication and a mature safety culture, Silverado job sites are safe.

We continually train our employees:
• Hazwoper Training
• First Aid/CPR
• Lead Awareness
• Asbestos Training
• Respirator Training
• Confined Space Training
Fall Protection
Project specific safety classes are routinely provided as well as weekly safety “Tool Box”
meetings. Silverado currently employs two Full Time Safety Officers who are tasked with
making sure all employees are current on their training and they routinely visit job sites to
enforce safe practices. A Site Specific Health and Safety Plan is customized and tailored for each
job along with Task Specific Hazard Analysis. In addition, every employee at Silverado is
empowered for Safety. If any employee sees something wrong or unsafe, they have the
authority to stop the work.
Safety involves our equipment as well. Our fleet of heavy equipment is new, maintained, clean
and dependable. All equipment is inspected daily.

SAFETY
7.1.D. - Page 48
