6.1 Gaueraqes and Limits. Consultant, at i#s sole expense, shall maintain the types afi caveragas and minimum timits indicated beiow, unless othervvise approvsd by City in writing. Consultant shall maintain ct�verage with limits not less than$500,000 pe�each accident far owned, hired and non-vwned autarnobites. 6,1.3 Workers' Comcrensaiion insurance. Gonsultant shail maintain coverage as required by the California Labor Ga#e. The Warkers' Compensa#ion palicy shail c�n#a'rn an endorsement stating that the insurer waives any right to subrogation against the City, its officers,agents,empfoyees and volunteers. 6.1.4 Empiover's Liabili�y Insurance. Consulta�t shall maintain coverage with limits not less than$�00,000 per each accident for bodilyi�jury or disease. 6.2. Nt�tice of Canceilatio�. This insurance witl be in force during the lifs of the Agreement and any extensions a#it and wili not be canc�led uuithout C�nsultarrt praviding thirty(3U)days prior written notice to City sent pursuant to the Nc�tiice provisions of this Agreement. 6.3 Providinq Certficates af Insurance and Endo�sements. Pribr to City's execution €�f tt�is Agr�ement, Consultant shall provide to City cert'�'icates of ir�surance and akwv� ref�renced end�rsements sufficient to sat+sfa�tion of Cit�s Risk Nlanager. In no event sha{I Consultant eommence any wt�rk or prov+de any Services under this Agreement until certificates af insurance and endorsements have been accepted by City's Risk Manager. 6,4 Failure to Maintain Co+�eraoe. If Consultant faiis to comply with #hese insurance requirements,then City will haue#he option to declare Consultant in breach,or may purchase repiacement insurance or pay the premiums that are due on existing pc�iicies in order to maintain the required coverages. Consuftarrt is responsibie for any payrnen#s made by CiS�+to obtain or maintain insurance and City may coltect these payments from Consultant or deduct the amount paid from any sums due Consultant under this Agreement. 6.5 Submissian of Insurance Policies,City reseroes the right to require, a# any iime, complete copies of any or all required insurance poCcies and endorsements. 7. Busines$ License. Consultant will obtain and mairrtain a �ity af Redwood City Business License for the term of the Agreement,as may be amended from tirne-to-time. 8. Conflict of Interest. City will evatuate Consultant's duties pursuant to this agr�ement ta determine whether disclosure under the Potitical Reform Act and City's Conflict of lnterest Cade is required af Consultant or any of Consultant's employees, agents ar subcontractors. Shauld it be determined that disclasure is required, Consultant or ConsultanYs employees, agents, 4r subcontractars will complete and file with the City Clerk those schedules specified tiy City and cantained in the S#atement of Economic ln#erests Form 700.
