EXHIBIT"A" <br /> 3COPE QF SERVtCES <br /> Cvnsuttant shall comalete the following tasks: <br /> TASK 1:VENDCfR NEGOTIATION &CONTRACT REVIEW SERVICES <br /> In coilaboration with City staff, vendors, and other RREP participants, aptony shafl provide technicai <br /> support in contract negotiation and solar system design optimizatian pracesses.Optony wil)ensu�e the <br /> PBA contrad meets City needs by attending to details in contract terms and conditions and in system <br /> sizing and designs,and prQVide proactive issues identification and rapid analysis of their impacts. <br /> Tasks Rerformed <br /> � Contract negotiatian support including evaluation of terms,conditions,pricing and per€orrrtance, <br /> recommendations and negatiation points; <br /> • Independent techn�cal and financial anatysis and evaluation for final contraet; <br /> • Modeling of appiicable and reeommended elect�icity rate schedules for renewable energy <br /> systems,including virtual net metering and feed-in-tariff options where applicable;and <br /> • Assist in preparatian and presentation of project benefits for Board approval. <br /> TASK 2: SQLAR PRUJECT INDEPENDENT ENGINEERING REVIEW <br /> From the contrarting phase throu�h issuance of the building permit (or internal approval to proceed if <br /> self-permitting), Optony will perform an Independent Engineering Review on a siie-by-site basis in <br /> collabaration with key City staff and stakeholders to minimize risks and deliver maxirrtum ecanomic <br /> ceturns. In addition to ensuring campliance with regulatory requirements for Independent Engineering <br /> Reviews for solar projects, Optony's work in redu�ing discrepancies in proposed solar system designs, <br /> components, and construction will result in better lifetime perfa�mance.
