d � <br /> • PCRC will provide at least 2 prevention-focused, evidence-based Parent <br /> Project series for between 45 and 75 families of high at-risk youth (e.g., <br /> youth with poor attendance patterns, discipline problems, and/or low <br /> grades) at Woodside, Redwood, and Sequoia High Schools by June 30, <br /> 2015, measuring outcomes by pre- and post-surveys, yielding these <br /> results: <br /> - 85% of parents/caregivers will report significant increases in <br /> education, hopefulness, warmth/affection for their children, <br /> communication skills, and strategies to prevent alcohol and <br /> drug use; <br /> • Work with staff at John W. Gardner Center to identify indictors, and develop/ <br /> implement evaluation plan for tracking success and impact of Parent Project; <br /> • PCRC staff will attend monthly Prevention Partnership Steering Committee <br /> meetings; <br /> • Ensure appropriate County reporting and data collection requirements are met <br /> including but not limited to entering and maintaining monthly CalOMS records; <br /> and <br /> • Complete other tasks related the Redwood City 2020 AOD Prevention <br /> Partnership as assigned by Redwood City 2020. <br /> 2. Standard of Performance. While performing the Services, Consultant will <br /> exercise the reasonable professional care and skill customarily exercised by reputable <br /> members of Consultant's profession practicing in the urban Northern California Area, <br /> and will use reasonable diligence and best judgment while exercising its professional <br /> skill and expertise. <br /> 3. Term. Unless earlier terminated, the term of this Agreement will be effective <br /> from date first above written until June 30, 2015. <br /> 4. Schedule. Consultant will adhere to the schedule set forth in the Scope of <br /> Services, provided, that City in its discretion may grant reasonable extensions of time <br /> for the performance of such services occasioned by unusually lengthy governmental <br /> reviews of Consultant's work product or other unavoidable delays occasioned by <br /> circumstances; provided, further, that such unavoidable delay will not include strikes, <br /> lockouts, work stoppages, or other labor disturbances conducted by, or on behalf of, <br /> Consultant's officers or employees. <br /> ATTY/AGR/2014.082/AOD SUBCONTRACT WITH PCRC FOR PARENT PROJECT 2014-15 <br /> REV:08-29-14 MLG <br /> Page 2 of 9 <br />
