7.3.A. - Page 4 ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AMENDING THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT SALARY PLAN TO <br /> ADJUST SALARY RANGES <br /> WHEREAS, in April 2000, the Council's Personnel Sub - Committee approved a <br /> new compensation program for department Heads in the Executive Management group; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the new compensation program requires that the salary for each <br /> Department Head Classification is established by using the lowest and highest salary for <br /> each position within the City's group of comparable cities; and <br /> WHEREAS, on December 14, 2004, the Council Personnel Sub - Committee <br /> decided to establish the one salary setting policy for all members of the Executive <br /> Management Group; and <br /> WHEREAS, a market survey for 2014 was conducted by Human Resource staff <br /> and has been reviewed by the Executive Management Group; and <br /> WHEREAS, criteria for setting Executive Management salary increases for <br /> Department Heads and Division Managers are determined by the City Manager annually. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Redwood City as follows: <br /> 1. That the salary ranges for the classifications in the Executive Management <br /> Group classifications as listed in "Exhibit A" are approved. <br /> 2.
