Agreement No. 48400-15-D001 Exhibit A Agreement between the County of San Maten and Citv of Redwood Citv 1. Description of Services to be Pertormed bv Contractor In consideration of the payments set forth in Section 2, Amount and Method of Pavment, Contractor shali provide the following services: Contractor(City of Redwood City) shall fumish all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, materials, and supervision necessary to provide complete and continuous care of all lawn, trees, shrubs, and ground covers, for ongoing maintenance and other landscaping services at Garfield School Playing Fields as per attached Proposal (Exhibit"B"). Contractor shall submit a cost report to the County fo�any additional work needed. The County and Contractor shall agree to the scope and cost of any additional work and the additional work shall authorized in writing by the Director of Public Works or his designated representative before said work is perFormed. Contractor shall walk the entire site each month with a County representative to ensure that all operations are being completed in a satisfactory manner. Contractor shall obtain all licenses and permits required by city, county and state authorities. The term of this P�qreement is for October 1, 2014 to June 30, 2016 a twenty-one month period at the fees quoted on the attached Proposal dated August 18, 2014. 2. Amount and Method of Pavment In consideration of the services provided by Gontractor pursuant to Section 1, Descriation of Services to be Performed bv Cont�actor, and subject to the terms of the Agreement, County shall pay Contractor based on the following schedule and terms: Please see attached exhibit"B"for rate scheduie Payment shall be made upon receipt of a written itemized invoice identifying the County project number, complete scope of work, specific work completed, number of hours involved and breakdown of charges. In any event, the total payment for services shall not exceed $60,595.00 (Sixty Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety Five Dollars and No/00). Year 1: $34,625.00 per year less $8,656.00 for three months paid through Amendment No. 1 under Agreement No. 45000-13-D001 in FY 2014-15. Total paid in FY 2014-15 per this Agreement shall not exceed $25,970.00 Year 2: In FY 2015-16 total paid shall not exceed $34,625.00 In any event, the County shall have the right to withhold payment if the County determines that the quantity and/or quality of the work performed is unacceptable. 7 REV:09-04-14 MLG ATTY/AGR/2014.163/COUNTY OF SAN MATEO
