Weeks indicated he would call the Policy Committee members and <br /> arrange a meeting on the subject of the Bingo Ordinance . <br /> ROUND TABLE <br /> Mr . Weeks indicated that the Planning Commission is holding a series <br /> of meetings in neighborhoods of Redwood City and that attendance was <br /> very good . The meetings are designed to receive input from the resi - <br /> dents on the General Plan , City operations and services . <br /> Commissioner Knecht asked if bleachers could be moved into Hawes Park <br /> for the Celebrity Softball game on June 3rd . Mr . Weeks indicated he <br /> would check to see if bleachers were available and would let Mr . Knecht <br /> know . <br /> Commissioner Knecht inquired if the schools that were not being used <br /> for school purposes could be used for recreation use . Mr . Weeks indi - <br /> cated that the school district has shown an interest in either selling <br /> or renting their schools as they become available . He felt that this <br /> is a possibility for future needs but that financial problems would <br /> occur , i . e . , staffing , maintenance and care of the facility . This <br /> subject could come up for more discussion as the schools become vacant . <br /> Commissioner Anderson indicated to the Commission that the Foothill <br /> Little League built a fence on the Franklin School property for a total <br /> cost of $3 , 000 for the safety of the parents who sit along the first <br /> base line .
