RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORT <br /> DECEMBER 1977 <br /> ADULT SPORTS & AQUATICS <br /> Adult Basketball <br /> During the month of December , the first half of the Adult Basketball <br /> League concluded . The leagues were re-organized , schedules mailed <br /> out , and the second half of the league will start on January 2nd . <br /> Forty- six ( 46 ) teams will be participating . <br /> Adult Co- Ed Volleyball League <br /> The ten teams in the league concluded the first round of play during <br /> December . Leagues were re-organized and the second round will start <br /> on January 2nd . <br /> Co- Ed Softball League <br /> The final games of the Co- Ed Softball League were rained out . The <br /> league was scheduled to conclude during December , but due to the <br /> rains , the season has been extended . <br /> Sequoia High School Drop- In Basketball <br /> During the School District ' s Christmas Vacation , the Sequoia Gymnasium <br /> was opened to the public for drop - in basketball . The gym was open from <br /> 11 : 00 a . m . to 5 : 00 p . m . On many days , due to the large number of par- <br /> ticipants , the girls gym was opened in addition to the boys . An average <br /> daily attendance of over 100 participated in the program . <br /> - 10- <br />
