RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORT <br /> ADULT SPORTS & AQUATICS <br /> The Co-Ed Softball League was organized and league play began during <br /> the month of September . Twenty-one ( 21 ) teams are participating . <br /> League games are played on Sunday afternoons and evenings . <br /> Recreation Swim was conducted at Community Pool and Hoover Pool on <br /> Labor Day Weekend . For the rest of the month , Hoover Pool was open <br /> on the weekends for recreation swimming . <br /> Soccer <br /> During the month of September , the soccer season for American Youth <br /> Soccer Organization (A . Y . S . O . ) and the California Youth Soccer Asso- <br /> ciation ( C . Y . S . A . ) started play . The Park & Recreation Department <br /> schedules the fields to the various leagues . There are 44 youth teams <br /> and 5 adult teams using our facilities . <br /> - 11 - <br />
