8.A. - Page 12 <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> Re iIV } dW Ca Remo 2015 -2023 Housing Element <br /> BIN l �n� Public Hearing Draft <br /> September 2014 <br /> This newest version of the Draft 2015 -2023 Housing Element indicates recent text <br /> changes by two highlighted colors: blue highlights indicate changes to Public Review <br /> Draft Housing Element (dated May 2014), and green highlights indicate changes to the <br /> HCD Review Draft Housing Element (dated June 2014). <br /> Blue Highlights <br /> The changes to the Public Review Draft Housing Element (blue highlights) are related <br /> to: <br /> 1) Changes to the Needs Assessment due to comments to the 21 Elements group <br /> from HCD (comments pertained generally to farmworkers, homeless <br /> demographics, and building condition) <br /> 2) Changes to various sections due to public and commission comments from <br /> community meetings in May and June. Lingering typos were also corrected <br /> during this round of revisions. <br /> Green Highlights <br /> The changes to the HCD Review Draft Housing Element (green highlights) are directly <br /> in response to HCD comments and were considered by HCD in making the <br /> determination to find the element in substantial compliance with State Housing Element <br /> law. These changes were either encouraged or required by HCD, depending on the <br /> individual change. <br />
