Box 391 <br /> Redwood City, CA 94064 <br /> Project Description and Scope of Work: <br /> The Project consists of the installation of"high priority"traffic control devices and traffic <br /> calming features along proposed walking/biking school routes to increase the safety of children <br /> walking and biking to schooL The improvements include curb extensions, high visibility <br /> crosswalks, curb ramps, updated school area signage, stop signs, pavement markings, bike <br /> markings (for signal detection), and clearing/grubbing. These improvements are proposed along <br /> the recommended walking routes to the five schools (Adelante, Hawes, John Gill, Roosevelt, and <br /> Roy Cloud)within Redwood City that participated in Safe Routes to School walking audits.
