Overall Project Description: Describe the overall project that is ultimately to <br /> be constructed. If the overall project is larger than the project scope for <br /> which the Measure A funds are requested, state the work that may have <br /> already been completed and the work that may remain. <br /> The project scope is to install "high priority"traffic control devices and traffic <br /> calming features along proposed walking/biking school routes to increase the <br /> safety of children walking and biking to school. The improvements include curb <br /> extensions, high visibility crosswalks, curb ramps, updated school area signage, <br /> stop signs, pavement markings, bike markings (for signal detection), and <br /> clearing/grubbing.
