PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> Judy McDowell, a Docktown resident, spoke about protecting and preserving a water <br /> tank at that location and described it as being historic possibly from the 1870's or earlier <br /> (brochure submitted). She noted that the deep Port was near the water tank. She has <br /> heard that the water tank may be taken down and she is saddened by such a possibility. <br /> She sees the value of preserving it and suggested alternatives. <br /> 7. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Items on the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one <br /> motion and one vote. <br /> CITY COUNCIL: Waive reading of the consent calendar and the full text of ordinances <br /> and resolutions, and approve the Consent Calendar items. <br /> M/S Seybert /Aguirre to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted. Award of Contract - Main Street Dog Agility Park <br /> Recommendation: <br /> Approve, by motion, the contract documents and award the standard form contract for <br /> the Main Street Dog Agility Park Project to Redwood Engineering Construction of <br /> Redwood City, California for their responsive and responsible low bid in the amount of <br /> $444,825.00; and, authorize the City Manager to increase the contract amount, if <br /> necessary, up to 10% of the amount awarded, not to exceed $489,307.50 awarded, not <br /> to exceed $489,307.50, and deem Guerra Construction Group a non - responsive bidder. <br /> MINUTE ORDER 14 -156 <br /> B.
