Consultant will perform the following activities: <br /> A. Convene Youth/Professional Development Action Team <br /> • Bring together partner agencies to build their capacit�r to support Youth <br /> Development Professional Development(YDPD)efforts in Redwood City. <br /> • Host meetings a# least three times during the year prior to trainings to <br /> apply CYDI survey findings, identify professional development <br /> opportunities for partners, and disseminate relevant best prac#ice <br /> resources and materials. Timeline: Fall 20'14, Winter 2014, Spring 2015 <br /> B. Professional Deveiopment Trainings <br /> • Identify pro#essional development neecfs of providers in Redwood City <br /> organizations and Commun'�ty Schools. <br /> • Lead YDPD Ac#ion Team to host 2 professionat development <br /> opportunities: the YD Refresher Training and one other training, to be <br /> determined by the needs of providers in consultation with the YDPD <br /> Action Team. Timeline: Fall 2014—Spring 2015. <br /> C. Professional Development Coaching <br /> • Meet individually with providers Redwood City organizations and <br /> Community Schools for 15 hours of coaching sessions based on YDPD <br /> practices, in arder to tailor professional develapment to those sites. <br /> Consultant will invoice RWC 2020 quarterly, providing documentation of actions taken <br /> during that preceding quarter. <br /> 2. Standard of Performance. While performing the Services, Consultant will <br /> exercise the reasonable professional care and skifl customarily exercised by reputabfe <br /> members of Consultant's profession practicing in the urban Northem Califomia Area, <br /> and will use reasonable diligence and best judgment while exercising its professional <br /> skill and expertise. <br /> 3. Term. Unless earlier terminated, the term of this Agreement will be effective from <br /> date first above written until June 30, 2015. <br /> 4. Schedule. Co�sultant will adhere to the schedule set forth in the Scope of Wo�lc, <br /> if applicable, provided, that Redwoad City 2020 and City in their discretion may grant <br /> reasonabte e�ctensions af time for the performance of such services occasioned by <br /> unusually lengthy gavemmental reviews of Consultant's work product or other <br /> unavoidable delays occasioned by circumstances; provided, further, that such <br /> unavoidable delay will not include strikes, lockouts, work stoppages, or o#her labor <br /> disturbances conducted by, or on behalf of, Consultant's officers or employees. <br /> Consultant acknowledges the importance to Redwood City 2020 and City of the project <br /> schedule and agrees to use its best professional efforts to meet the schedule. <br /> REV:11-05-14 MLG <br /> Page 2 of 10 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2074.234/AOD Subcontract with Sarah Kremer 14-15 <br />
