The following is the break down <br /> for the new registrations: <br /> 6th Grade Boys . 3 4th Grade Boys . 3 <br /> 5th Grade Boys . 2 Jr. High Girls . 3 <br /> The after-school basketball program is now 75% completed. The season <br /> ending playoffs will begin on February 14 and conclude by March 3. <br /> During the month of January, the Department incurred the loss of several <br /> elementary staff leaders and officials. New personnel have been hired <br /> to replace the leaders and existing staff inembers have been covering <br /> assignments for the lost officials. <br /> The Department has received costume heads of the Easter Bunny and <br /> Snoopy which will be used at the Easter Day Camp, Sumner Day Camp, <br /> and for special events with the Summer Playground and Roving Leader <br /> Programs. <br /> Personnel needs for summer are being assessed and the job announcements <br /> and recruitment are now underway. <br /> The highly successful Roving Leader Program for the spring is now in <br /> planning with crews and schools being chosen and training sessions being <br /> planned to implement the program. <br /> -12' <br />
