Capital Improvement funds of $16,000 <br /> are being requested. <br /> Chairman Schlesinger inquired as to why the religMting of H�wes Fie9d <br /> was in�luded in the projects. Mr. Weeks indicated that he had received <br /> several requests from users as well as from spme of the Council members <br /> to consider the relighting of thp fie7d. <br /> The Comnissioners proposed the fol'tawing priorities for the prpjects: <br /> Priority #l : Canyon Park; #2: Spinas Park; #3: Fleishman Park; #4: <br /> Relighting of Hawes Field; #5: Red Morton Community Park; #4: Downtown . <br /> Fountain-Sculpture. ' <br /> MOTION: Commissioner Weintraub moved, seCOnded by Cqmmis- <br /> sioner Knecht, to aCcept the proposed Capital <br /> . Improvement Projects with the priorities as stated. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. , <br /> MONTHLY REPOR�'S <br /> Chairman Schlesinger inquired if th� lighting had been inspected at the <br /> tennis courts at Redwood Shqres. Mr. Weeks indicate� �hat the ]ights <br /> were inspected and are satisfdetory and .that the contractor is waiting <br /> for warm�r temperature and dry weather �efor� the fina] coating' for the <br /> courts can be appiied. <br /> MOTION: Commissioner Weintraub moved, seconded by Co�anis- <br /> sioner }iay�s, to a�cept the monthly reports as <br /> $ubmitted. The motion carried unanimously by <br /> . voice vote. <br /> HUP1AN RESOURCES COMMITTEE - COMMI$SIONER KN�CHT <br /> Mr. Knecht indicated th� last Committee meeting was at the Fair Oaks <br /> Community Center and that a large crowd was present. The YMCA and the <br /> PYC were present to talk about the�r prograr�s. 7here were $everal <br /> discussions between citizens and coordinators of the programs. He <br /> felt it went very well . <br /> COMMITTEE SCHEDULING <br /> Chairman Schlesinger assigned Commissioner Cast7e �o the following Com- <br /> mittees: Programming, Desic�n and Development, and Redwoqd $hores. He <br /> will be replacing Commissioner Buckhout`s place pn these Committees. <br /> An additional change made was in moving Commissioner Anderson to Chairman <br /> of the Pro�ram Committee. <br /> -4- <br />
